Another great post Milli.

The most egregious words I've ever read in a court report are "her penis", about a penis connected to a man who raped women.

The media - newspapers and TV and radio - have put in an utterly dismal performance over this. There’s been an outcry over the BBC Verify piece and I understand it’s been pulled. But we need to call this out every time.

Just last week, this nappy fetishist was given female pronouns plus ‘woman’ in the headline. Not until way down in the story do we get to the defence submission that the defendant was ‘born male’.

Great post ,Milli. I never automatically believe newspaper reports about a woman committing a crime unless I see a picture of the accused. Only then will I judge the accuracy of the report. I Don't trust the MSN one little bit !!. Thanks ,Milli.

Yes and of course we can always tell from a picture, in spite of some people insisting we can’t!!

And even as the media dutifully "she" and "hers," some TRAs are trying to claim he wasn't REALLY trans.

To add, the goal is to establish "Women do it too." No matter what men might do, if they claim to be women, women don't need safe spaces because "women do it too." That's why the trans female shooter is still referred to as female.
