Hey all, yes it is still February I’m afraid! But here I am, as predictable as rain, showing up for you this chilly Sunday morning with my regular nosebag. It’s a little trot through everything I’ve been reading, writing and thinking about this week, and it’s only for paid subscribers, so here comes that paywall. But first, let me just tell you that a paid sub is sort of like crowdfunding a writer; it means that everyone contributes just a little amount but all those little amounts add up. This then means that I can do my writing here for you, rather than in a newspaper or magazine, which, even if it doesn’t have a paywall, you still pay for somehow by being advertised to etc. Here - no adverts, no editors - just me and my laptop talking to you direct.
