Hello all! As you know, normal service has been somewhat interrupted this month by the publication of my new book, Ultra Processed Women - although this is of course another area of life where the question, “What about women?”, is highly relevant!
I wanted to share with you that’s it’s in The Times newspaper today (you might remember that being photographed for the piece inspired me to write about how much we women can hate on our own reflection…)
The inner voice of women's self-loathing
On the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday, Pamela Anderson looked the male gaze straight in the eye and said, “Deal with it”.
The Times piece is interesting - it touches on my ‘cancellation’, and then explores the topic of ultra processed food and women’s health. I’ll write a little bit more about the piece today, over on my new substack dedicated to these issues
.But for now, I will leave you with the link to the piece (share token so you should be able to get past the paywall!).
I was also on a podcast this week called High Performance Health talking about the book…
More soon no doubt but I really wanted to let you know about The Times!
Milli x
Great article :) the share token link didn't work when I followed from the email, but did on substack directly (weird)
Will buy from local book shop aa I have a book token to use up. Congrats on book launch, does publicity include Women's Hour? It ought to do! Btw this is Rose not the Professor who is languishing in academia..
