Aww Milli - glad you had a great time, you deserved it! I’m really glad to have got to know you over the past two years (online counts, yes?) and you are not ‘wasting your time on Twitter’. This is the nation’s conversation, and there are not too many women looking at the whole genderist shit show from the birth & maternity world - you’re doing a damn fine job.

(And C’s boots…..❤️❤️❤️).

Honestly then you would have appreciated the boots Lynn. A sort of electric peacock green. Wowzers.

Her speech was really excellent. I believe it will be broadcast at the end of November and I'm sure it will generate much discussion, in particular about the tribal behaviours we are seeing via social media. x

Nothing wrong with a bit of fan girl behaviour... i’d’ve been exactly the same. I regularly share Chimamanda’s ‘single story’ lecture with writing colleagues - Half of a Yellow Sun was a worthy winner for the Woman’s Prize best of 25 years. Looking forward to hearing this discussion on radio.
