Maybe you weren’t being entirely serious (or maybe you were...) but that part about thinking it’s still October really resonated! Time to take our heads out of the sand and make Christmas happen! 😆 Good luck, everyone, and best wishes for the season! x
I was deadly serious! I have actually been feeling annoyed with all the Christmas stuff in the shops etc for weeks now, and all the people busy getting on with their shopping - pah! idiots! Now I'm the idiot. xx😆
Can so relate to this. Christmas just feels like another way to put pressure on women. I know it's not all men but I suspect a lot do very little in terms of planning, wrapping, posting etc (or maybe that's just my husband). That and the pressure to spend esp when so many families are feeling the pinch has made me feel quite grinchy.
There is that element for sure. Christmas definitely wouldn't happen without women, but then, neither would a lot of nice things! I do actually love Christmas really especially with the excitement of the kids. It's a great way to cheer up the long dark winter. But also have many frazzed grinchy moments (especially when you have smaller kids and you see a MAN (father xmas) taking all the bloody credit!! xxx

Well done Milli. Eat all the cheese and relish the support you have. You deserve it
Thank you so much. I definitely plan to eat all the cheese. And relish the support too while I do so! Have a great one xxx

Take good care of you! Whatever that entails, so you are recharged to begin the new year. I look forward to your regular writings.
Thanks Ruth. It mostly entails cheese. Have a lovely one yourself xx
Have a well-deserved break and enjoy the festivities! Indulge in all the cheese x
I've already made a start on it. A really good brie and a roquefort the other night. Now I have some others in the fridge, including one called Epoisse which is apparently so packed with listeria that it is illegal in America. https://theculturetrip.com/europe/france/articles/french-cheeses-that-most-foreigners-will-never-dare-try# xx😆
