From the moment when I discovered I was expecting triplets and was positively showered with support from other mums of multiples , to my early NCT days, my midwifery training and the women’s workshops I’ve attended. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful and loving women’s groups can be. Let’s keep them going! Full moon gatherings! 😊
Menopause is great. It initiated my metamorphosis into being a bosswitch, and I haven’t looked back. Sure, there’ve been trade-offs, like getting older and getting a belly, but the sack of mental and emotional shite which menopause enabled me to shuck off has created a feeling of freedom. I can honestly say that as a younger woman I thought it was nothing to look forward to, but now that I’m here and done, it’s an unexpected new life.
I am feeling similar and it was also interesting to see younger women looking surprised / relieved / amazed by similar talk at Jane's workshop!! We need to spread this message! xx
Absolutely! It irks me to see so much negativity spread about it. I realise that not every woman will like what it brings, but many find a lot to like about it.
Thanks for this Milli. Society has always understood the need for men only spaces...look at all those men's clubs world wide! Sports clubs, Board rooms for example are full of men only discussions, as are pubs. Why do we even have to explain the reason why we too want/need women only spaces??
So true - but then the men only spaces tend to be enclaves of power which is why women object to not being able to access them? Although I do agree that men should have their own spaces, I don't know how I feel about 'boy's clubs' like the Garrick etc in this world where men already have the advantage?? xx
I’m so glad you had such a great day. I loved the workshop (and my first time in Glastonbury) on Monday. When the team were in Dublin, Judy talked about experiencing so much joy in menopause and that gave me something to reach for. Just like I find so much joy in my cycle and in giving birth, I look forward to finding the joy in menopause ♥️
I can’t begin to imagine how the energy would’ve changed had a man been in those workshops.
This is, as always, wonderful!

So glad you were inspired. Jane is a gift! xx
Such true words. I’ve been in a number of Jane’s workshops, absolutely amazing and powerful days. Women only spaces are life changing ❤️
