So pleased to see people like Emma tackling this in the mainstream media. Also beyond infuriating to see more posts where ‘women’ and ‘females’ are erased but its apparently okay to still call “people with penises” ‘men’ and ‘males’. The hypocrisy of it all 🙄

Yes it is infuriating but we are making progress I think! x

Just bonkers - all of it - but what really infuriates me is ‘the birth sanctuary’ one - no sign of women ie females but they’re very happy to cite sex when it suits them ie males... grrrrr!

Indeed! It is absolutely infuriating that these so-called women's organisations are complicit in all of this!! x

Thanks Milli for your research. I was encouraged by Emma Barnett’s interview- it really did draw attention to the inappropriateness of Steph’s appointment. Gosh…

It was great wasn't it. And now of course it's being declared 'transphobia' because unless you don't ask any difficult questions / kiss the ring etc that's what you will be called! Gah!

I must admit I thought "can men get endometriosis?" And I'm not at all surprised that the reason why it's been seen is because of giving them something artificial! It's still nothing like the same!

Brilliant examples as always!

From what I read, they know so little about endo, why it happens and what it is that they don't really know if the teeny number of men who have had it, have had the same thing? It's the biggest straw man irrelevant argument I've ever heard!

How do all these erasures get signed off? Someone or various someones thinks of these phrases, writes them, publishes them/posts them…..might make an interesting FOI.

Excellent work documenting this awful stuff 😡
