The tip-toeing around the word "breast" being too feminine in its association is so funny, because here we are with... "body milk" and "human milk." Great.

I know! Funny how we have just got rid of a load of taboo words and topics and created new ones!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you ran out of examples so you could stop writing about this particular topic?

I find it a bit creepy to think that the body milk I have was produced by ahem, an actual body. Might have to change brands back to hand lotion.

Some people may not be aware of how La Leche League got its weird name. In the USA in 1956, the word "breast" could not be printed in a newspaper, so if the Founders had been set on forming a breastfeeding support group (with that name) they could not have used newspaper ads to let women know when and where their meetings were. Ironically, after finally figuring out that hearing about breasts won't cause a mass fainting event, now we can't use this word because it is "offensive" to well a tiny proportion of the general population, as well as not being "inclusive" despite the fact that breasts are in humans, a universal secondary sex characteristic.

Here I wrote about an award-winning product for dads who want to share the "burden" of breastfeeding with women. Note it includes a specially designed flange to better fit male chest anatomy: https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/all-that-glitters-is-not-gold

I have sometimes had to work with people who "brought their whole selves to work" and usually I wish they had just called in sick instead.

It's too bad that the Columbian ecologist didn't "become" a woman a bit earlier before his male pattern baldness kicked in. The multi-colored hair is not good camouflage.

Thanks, Milli for another wade through the sewage of gender ideology.

A brilliant (if exasperating…) read as always, also made me exclaim “Dewberry!!” out loud to an empty kitchen! 😄

Oh my, that has made me laugh so much, it was precisely what popped into my head about half a minute after the “Dewberry” exclamation!! Talk about shared references!

I miss those little bath pearls they used to do? Completely useless in the bath but the pick and mix element was one of the highlights of my early teens 😄

The outsides went squidgy and took ages to dissolve! I also seem to remember a pink grapefruit bodywash I was quite fond of… you have got me sitting here musing about Body Shop products of the past!
