That lie, an utter lie, from S. Derbyshire😡…..it’s rare you see a *deliberately concocted* one like this.

Btw, apparently that amazing executive order was written by terftastic US lawyer @MayMailman (acc to sensible sources). Notable that the EO itself uses the word ‘sex’. Comms ppl at the White House changed the media release to ‘gender’ (I’m assuming it was them) 😬🙁

I thought that too - maybe they should have paid less attention to “inclusive language” and more to avoiding gobbledegook!

I would also like to bring to the attention of those advertising for "people with a cervix" that some "people" who also happen to be women, but who don't have a cervix may still need smear tests because those sneaky cancer cells can wander off.

I know this because I am one of those "people". Having had a LLETZ procedure many years ago (when I still possessed a cervix) for some dodgy cells, my GP's office informed me that post hysterectomy, I required two clean vault smears before I could safely exit the cervical screening program.

So even "women and people with a cervix" are misleading because I suspect that many women like me would look at that additive language and assume that as a woman without a cervix, they weren't talking about me.

I had to have PAP smears for 10 years after my hysterectomy for cancer. It’s so much easier and clearer to use the right words.

Thanks Milli have a nice birthday weekend .

Despite all the altered language , women have private scans well before their anomaly as want to know boy or girl , this is very important to current day couples . They want to be a mum and they want to breast feed and sometimes they may also use a breast pump .

Also a lot of women haven’t had a smear test . So it’s not helpful for rcog or any breast feeding organisation indeed any maternity unit to make up or change the language for whom it is designed to help . Allegedly.

See you next week . X

So Derbyshire maternity and neonatal voices removed the reference to the guidelines or removed the idea of making birth language inclusive?

The funniest thing Donald Trump did this week was suspend all people in the US government with the word "inclusive" in their title, they get paid but they aren't allowed to do anymore work 😂 If they did that in the UK but actually fired them the NHS would save an actual fortune!

they removed the reference to the guidelines because THERE ARE NO GUIDELINES!

Happy Birthday ,Milli and thanks for all you do in highlighting these sexist absurdities !!. Our NHS should know that only women ( adult human females ) need women's services and NO MAN will ever be a woman ,or vice versa !! These delusional women who think they're men are responsible for most of this erasure ,but it's interesting to note that MEN are not being erased. Wonder why that is ?? The medical profession is disgracing itself once again and once again women and children are the victims !! Pure misogyny !! Will they EVER learn ??

I can't believe people like RCOG are supporting this when they are doctors, and a medical scandal is unfolding before their eyes!

One can approve of Trump’s action without approving of him in general.

The liberal left has lost its mind on this subject. They are just WRONG.

So enjoy the wins where one finds them.

indeed. You don't have to be right wing to see that women's rights are under threat if we lose touch with reality. xx
