Me too - everything you’ve said... I DON’T CARE - I wrote to a local paper recently in reply to a pro trans piece... the editor returned it and asked for a rewrite... at least she’s prepared to print something. Apparently I was too personal... but it is personal. I’ve sent a rewrite - it will be published next week. It may only be local but likely more impact personally. I’m sharing as much as I can on the subject with everyone I know... not in a boring way I hope but whenever the subject arises I do not sit quietly - I tell people what they don’t want hear. Small fry compared to you Milli - but I’m always up for supporting any women who speak up. X
Thank you for this Milli. I'm behind KJK 100% because she gives every woman a chance to speak. And feminism, even though she refuses to describe herself as such, means you fight for every woman even those you don't like. She's clever, and creative, and puts herself on the front line in the most strong, physical, courageous way, making herself vulnerable in the process. She's a figure that the 'ordinary' women can get behind, 'make your body the billboard', almost nightly YouTube videos, Terf Tuesday phone ins, suggestions of practical.things we can do, Speakers Corner, the list goes on. She is the most uncompromising in her approach in that she mostly doesn't use language rooted in gender ideology.
I think she's been shat on from a great height by other women, still she continues.
I struggle to understand exactly what is so "controversial" (as KJK was portrayed by NZ media) about a woman who stands up in a public space saying, "let women speak". Clearly this is breaking some unspoken rule about who is allowed to have an opinion. If it is bigoted to state that biology is real, then I guess I am guilty of the crime of not prioritizing the feelings of men over the actual needs and safety of women and children.
Please don't get me started on birth and breastfeeding organizations and groups who buy into this harmful practice. We mammals cannot escape our sexed bodies and no amount of bought artifice can purchase an "authentic" self so there is no benefit to women of pretending otherwise.
God it’s so tiring isn’t it. Sometimes I think it’s the ‘direct’ style that offends them, but really it’s a woman critiquing (at all) that’s the issue.
Perhaps one benefit of the outspoken women raising the roof and getting so much attention is a form of misdirection while the quiet, methodical ones can try to influence people in their network. We need both.
Germaine is right. You have no control over what someone thinks of you: just ignore it. Ad hominems are levelled at you, KJK, Maya (Powerhouse) Forstater, JKR because the have no counter arguments, get angry, and lash out at you and them. When I was doing consultancy I was known as the Rottweiler because I would not let opponents get in the way of my achieving my goal. Still have that tenacity. See my 'Slaying the Genderborg' post. Keep up the good fight. Don't let the bustards (sic) win.
Thank you Milli ! I have had a vicious response to me asserting "t-phobia is spurious" in a Doula group. I have a long story to tell about being refused access to one course because my 'views' would not be accepted and almost hounded out by another with the same. Thinking back too, when I was a teen someone wrote in big letters on a bench opposite our local shops; "A--- Is A WHORE". I've never forgotten the shame, to this day, it stuck for a long time, and i'm 57 ffs ! You're article resonated so much, I've always been a 'loud, annoying, impossible etc etc girl and woman'... And nowadays ?. Well simply like Germaine and many of us warriors.....I DONT CARE
You made a very good tweet saying quite sensibly that we can slag off the misogyny and violence of the TRAs while also swiftly denouncing nazis who turn up purporting to be on our side. Sorry you also felt like you had to write this.
Women of ill repute

Exactly what I was feeling, brilliantly put - thank you...we are not mad and this is happening in real time. 💪

"Be kind" in this context is no more than an instruction to women to behave so as to not upset men. https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/erasing-mothers-erasing-relationships
Thank you x
Absolutely. Why should we care if it makes them feel sad when we don’t endorse their delusions?
When have they ever supported us in our beliefs? It’s “toe the line or stfu, bitch.”
All hail the difficult women!

I don't believe the smears in the poor press reporting. But I do believe the evidence that shows kjk is associating with the far right.
